Who’s behind the lens? 
Hi my name is Monique, I’m a local in the Hunter Valley, I’ve been a photographer for 5 years doing other styles of photography, when I found out about boudoir photography I fell In love with it! 
I absolutely love the feeling I get empowering other women to love themselves. 
Im also a mother of two & a wife to my very supportive husband Kyle. 

Back in February 2021, I ventured out into Boudoir and instantly wanted to pursue my dreams and follow in this style of photography. In March 2021 my family & I found out my grandmother had fallen ill. She absolutely LOVED my photography and what I did supporting other women to love themselves. She was so proud of who I was & what I was doing. I was stuck on a name and I said to my grandmother “I would love something that had something todo with her” my grandma then came up with the name Elegant Beauty! I love it so much because my grandma was the most beautiful woman I’ve ever known! And had a personality to match! 

Since then I started to drift away from what I loved I went into a dark hole and I needing something or someone to pull me out and then I remembered what my grandma always told me, “I want you to be happy and loving life!” And it hit me I want to make myself happy doing what I love! And continuing to make my grandma proud. 

That is how Elegant Beauty - Boudoir Photography came about!
